Today's world is becoming increasingly complex and interconnected. It is imperative, therefore, that our education system reflects these changes. With this in mind, Operation Wisdom is leading the charge to change the way that students learn. With a growing network of Global Partners at our side, we are raising up a generation of students to lead our global community with compassion, with knowledge, and, above all, with wisdom.
- OUR WORK -
Wisdom, according to Webster’s Dictionary, is defined like this: "the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment." To achieve our mission, Operation Wisdom runs three unique learning programs. Each one focuses on one of the three elements of wisdom:
Experience: The Trip
Knowledge: The Class
Good Judgment: The Club
"Week of Wisdom": A Huge Success
Thank you to all of our students, educators, and community members who helped make our Week of Wisdom campaign a huge success (December 10-15). It was awesome to see our Operation Wisdom Community come together and raise awareness and funds for important human rights issues around the world.
Because of your support, we were able to donate $2,126.88 to Partners in Relief and Development, an organization that works to bring basic human rights to the Rohingya population in Bangladesh and Myanmar.
- OUR MISSION -
Operation Wisdom started in 2013 as a handful of students and educators who desired to learn how to become better global citizens. Since then, we have grown exponentially. Today we are an education-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a student-majority Board of Directors and hundreds of members across North Carolina. Our Mission is to develop globally conscientious students through international community building and strategic service-learning.
-Creating a better tomorrow through today's youth-
- OUR PARTNERS -
At the very heart of our program lies the secret to our success: an extensive global network of amazing organizations, institutions, and communities that help teach our students what compassion and critical thinking looks like in a global context.
